The staff members of our church are available to minister to you.

 

  

Broe Davis, Senior Pastor

Pastor Broe Davis has been Lead Pastor at Warren First since May 2009.  Previously he served as the Associate and Youth Pastor at Warren First from 2000-2008 and Interim Pastor until 2009.  Raised in Southington, Ohio, he grew up in the Warren First Church of the Nazarene.  After graduating from Chalker High School in Southington, he made the decision to attend Mount Vernon Nazarene University, Mount Vernon, Ohio, graduating in 1988 with a degree in Religion. 

In 2003 he was ordained by the General Church of the Nazarene.  Prior to being on staff at Warren First, he served in music and youth evangelism, based out of Nashville, Tennessee from 1995 to 2000.  He enjoys playing guitar with the Sunday morning praise team and is also an avid reader.  Pastor Broe and his wife Patty, are blessed with their son, Ethan.

Pastor Brent and Amanda

 

Brent S. Erb, Pastor to Families with Children and Youth

Pastor Brent and his wife Amanda came to Warren First in March of 2012, from Simpsonville, South Carolina, where he was the youth pastor for a year and a half.  Both Brent and Amanda graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University, Mount Vernon Ohio.  Amanda graduated with a bachelor’s degree in science in Nursing, and is currently a dialysis nurse, while Brent Graduated with a Youth Ministry Degree. 

Pastor Brent works with both youth and children and their families, leading youth group on Sunday nights as well as children’s church Sunday mornings.  Pastor Brent and Amanda would love to see you and your teenagers and your children join us for Sunday morning worship.

 

Phyllis Thomas, Lay Minister of Visitation

Phyllis was born in Cynthiana, KY.  She moved to the Warren, Ohio area following World War Two and has lived there since.  In 1962 she married Ralph Thomas and they had two sons, Richard and Timothy.  She is a grandmother to five wonderful grandkids.  In 1978 she and her family started attending Warren First Church of the Nazarene.  After giving their hearts to the Lord during a revival service, she and Ralph have been active in many ministries.  Phyllis has been on staff at the church since 1982. 

Phyllis' personal testimony: "I have the privilege of sharing God's love with our shut-ins and those who are sick or in the hospital.  I love the Lord and am so thankful for His saving grace."

 

 

Patty Davis, Office Administrator

Patty Davis is the Office Administrator and also the wife to Pastor Broe.  She previously worked for Kent State University Trumbull in the Student Services Office.  Growing up in Spencer, West Virginia, Patty went on to attend college at Mount Vernon Nazarene College in Mount Vernon, Ohio and graduated in 1990 with a degree in Human Services. 

She met her husband, Broe Davis, there and they were married in 1990.  She enjoys many areas of ministry, gardening, spending time with family and especially summer activities with Ethan.  The family has a Border Collie named Taz.

 

Sherry Wilkoski, Church Treasurer

Sherry, her husband Dave and her family began attending Warren First Church in 1988.  She says, "Our daughters enjoyed the teen programs and Dave and I were warmly welcomed into the 'family of fellowship.'" 

Sherry became church treasurer in 1999 and a sunday school teacher in 2002.  She says, "Both undertakings have brought amazing growth to my faith and spiritual well-being."

 

Chris Lee, Pianist and Worship Leader

Chris’s varied background in music includes experience as a recording studio musician and arranger, music director for various churches, piano instructor and piano technician.  He has a fairly long history with us at Warren First Nazarene beginning in 1998 but has become a regular fixture here since February of 2012.  He has three adult sons and enjoys reading, and listening to music.  Chris and his wife, Teresa are faithful servants at Warren First.

“I am convinced that the highest purpose and expression for music is to honor God and worship Him whole heartedly.  I hope our working together here will inspire others to this end.”

 

Noreen Rumple, Custodian

Noreen started attending Warren First Church around 1988.  She has this to say about her ministry and work here:  "My grandparents Pauline and Wilmer Beach helped build this church. They were very proud of our church and church family whom they loved.
I feel the Lord called me for this position at Warren First and I take pride in my work!  When I'm not working at the church you can find me babysitting for my grandchildren..."
